I'm accustomed to different art styles in these omnibus editions, but I was really annoyed that this edition kept skipping to so many different timelines. This volume was definitely not as good as the first.

This is maybe 3.5 stars but I rounded up because, Buffy. Felt very true to the series, with a lot of its humor. Uhh if you like Buffy you will probably like these comics?

Overall a good collection of the comics. The last one "The Dust Waltz" I had read, the others, not so much. I liked seeing Kendra again, and I do love Dru and Spike (though the art in those stories left something to be desired -- a little bit too much Creepshow and not enough Buffy)
I liked the first collection better, as it had some of the origin type tales, but still, it was Buffy, and I really do miss seeing the show.

An beautiful collection graphic novels, however the story does really jump around. It feels like the collections just chooses a time to feature in, but the extra detail and complexity it adds is great. However the dru/spike novel seemed very jarring. And not enough like the characters seen in the tv show.

I really enjoyed reliving the past with new monster encounters that we didn't see in the tv show. The characters retain their personalities and quirks. This was a very fun read.

A mix of 3- and 4-star stories. I'm probably giving them an extra star because I have a history with the characters, so keep that in mind.
Angels We Have Seen on High
Very cute, very short, very cool story taking place before Season 1, before Buffy moves from LA to Sunnydale.
A Stake to the Heart
An ok story of Angel watching over Buffy right after she moves to Sunnydale.
MacGuffins
A fun story - but this one jumps to after Season 1.
The Queen of Hearts
Spike and Dru - right before Season 2, on their way to Sunnydale.
Ring of Fire
An interesting story - toward the end of Season 2, but before the finale.
Paint the Town Red
Spike and Dru leave Sunnydale and have relationship issues.

A bit on the slow side, but this story jumps partway into Season 3, and there are a few stories that take place before this one in Omnibus 3.
