I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, likeable characters and there’s certainly some spice. It was great to read a fantasy story with a twist - Angel’s!
I love how Devlin was written and I love the friendship between Freddy and Ivy. It felt so natural and part the way through the book it felt natural with Devlin as well. There are great pop culture references in the story and some great one liners. The sass from Ivy is kind of what everyone wishes they could be.
At some points it did read a bit like ‘Fan Fiction’ and I confused myself at one point because there was a time jump but for me that was the only ‘negative’. It was still a very enjoyable story.
I did feel like I predicted the ending at some point but it didn’t ruin the story for me. I just hope there’s more.
I love the description of Ivy and Hades wings. I also want Ivy’s wings.
