Oh man, Lincoln Dobbs is hot and sweet and funny. I love his personality and attitude. Sofia is awesome, I love that she has that rebellious streak in her, I love that she can stand up for herself and has a good heart. These two together are amazing. I was addicted to this book from the beginning. The chemistry of these two is hot and their personalities are fun.

Very well written story with a serious tone; though sometimes a bit complicated, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Emotions sometimes run high.
Very well described characters that have riveting dialogues.
Lincoln and Sofia have a great chemistry. Their intimate scenes are sweet and sexy.
If you like gripping SEALS stories, this book is for you !

This is my honest review of a copy given to me by the author.

Almost a 5 star for me but not quite. I didn’t like Lincoln’s character in the beginning but then throughout the story he grew on me.

A SEAL and a Medical student....

Another good Weston Park read! This is a forbidden military romance that is quite enjoyable.

Lincoln is a SEAL who appears as though he has no care in the world. He moves and does most things based on his heart and gut. Others view this as someone who does not know how to follow orders, as arrogant and disrespectful.

Sofia is a medical student who has been recommended for the fast track program at college. She has decided to visit her father since he is now on a retiring SEAL. Sofia and Lincoln meet at her dad retirement party, but they have no idea how they are both connected to him. They have amazing chemistry together, enough that they no longer want to consider it a one night stand.

Will Sofia's father be the one that breaks them apart or pulls them together?

Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Easy-to-read, Happily Ever After, Romantic, Realistic, Steamy, Twisted, Wonderful characters

I had a hard time finishing this book. The hero is an arrogant, hot head. I grew tired of the “god of a man” and “Aphrodites gift”talk. Where did this come from?
Some things were over emphasized for instance his “ smirk”. I’ve heard other readers talk about men who write romance. I could tell a man wrote this book. Ive avoided reading romance books by men for this reason. I gave this a chance. I won’t so that again. The relationship wasn’t well developed. I didn’t feel the connection. What woman turns down foreplay??
Sofia did several times, VERY unrealistic. I hate when the author doesn’t let you read about the action and only tell you about it after the fact. When Eden was injured. Its a military romance written by a man. Why leave out the action? I was just annoyed and very unsatisfied by this book. Sorry. I’m severely annoyed because I randomly picked the book off of Amazons Top list for my Book Club to read. This was my first Military Romance. This was my first book by this author.
