"That's the funny thing about time. You never have as much as you think."
Alex had been mentally and physically broken and that was so tough to read. No matter how broken she felt, she realised the world depended on her. Overall, I enjoyed her journey throughout this series. The ending made sense. It didn’t have any crazy plot twist. I wouldn’t have minded one to be honest. Even if the story itself was predictable, I thought it was also very wholesome and encourages character development! I enjoyed seeing Marcus express himself more. He’s such a sweet guy. The same goes for Aiden. He’s perfectly imperfect, he feels basic human emotions like jealousy and anger, but he knows how to deal with them in a mature way. And the Titan was very amusing. I do think it’s a pity that we don’t get to see a lot of Alex’s father. It seems like he has such a strong character arc which remains untouched.
Graphic: Classism, Death, Xenophobia, Panic attacks/disorders, Violence, Pregnancy, and War
Minor: Rape and Vomit
