This is a big book but do not be fooled by the length of pages. It is an easy read full of enticing material from page 1. I had to force myself to put it down so I could often emotionally process the depth of what I read. It is powerful, historical, cultural, empowering, political, philosophical and poetic. I was sad to finish it and am already thinking about when I will reread it to really take in so many pieces of life lessons I missed the first time.
