I thought I loved Luke and Emmy....and then I met Wes and Ada ❤️ they were literally made for each other and I LOVED the mental health representation. I have never felt so seen in a book before!

ada is an absolute queen & weston is my middle child king. i fell in love with these two so easily- their sweet and stubborn love had me addicted. the mental health rep hit so freaking hard and i adored how real they were. i absolutely need some art of wyatt shirtless feeding the baby calf after the storm- if u have this PLEASE SHAREEE

Okay, I’m not sure why but I loved this book and honestly wasn’t expecting to after my experience with Done and Dusted (which was pretty mediocre 😅).

I really liked these two characters and enjoyed their dynamic a lot. Nothing felt forced, the feelings between the MC’s seemed to develop at a realistic rate and I really think the small town, tight-knit family dynamic really adds so much to the story. The spice was also spicin’ for me, so that helps!

Wes is the typical big brother who’s funny and does his best to make everyone smile. I really enjoyed that he was relatable and talked about his struggles with depression and being on medication. And he was such a sweetheart! From teaching her to drive stick to cooking her favorite meal. Swoon 🫠

Ada was also such a great character! I liked that she had realistic baggage and flaws. She was impulsive and asked for what she wanted but still felt unsure of herself at times. She made their dynamic so fun and interesting. And I love that the girls at Rebel Blue just adopted her and made sure she felt like family. 🥹

So excited for book 3… who doesn’t want a good hate to love story?!

Believe it or not, I thought that this story was better than the first book - Done and Dusted. Characters seemed more grounded, and their problems seemed to make more sense. I wouldn’t mind reading the next book in the series.

This was a chill, low-angst romance that delivered exactly as advertised. I love a mmc like Wes and I project myself on characters like Ada so it was definitely up my alley. There were parts that were slow and I wanted a bit more from but great introduction this author overall.
