This book was a very enjoyable read overall and the characters were so fun!

One thing that I liked about this book was the multidimensional characteristics of both of our MCs. This was in part because of the dual perspectives, but it was also supported through the conversations that the characters had with one another and how vulnerable and honest they were. Both characters had reservations about being in a relationship just in general, so it was nice to see that they were able to be honest and open with one another and help one another grow and feel mutual trust.

I also loved the (assumed) bisexual rep in this book and the main character's beautiful relationship she had with her ex (father of her baby) and his husband. It's nice to see a couple coparent successfully!

I formed the rating for my review and didn't give it 5 stars based on the fact that I wish that we had had more time to see the two characters actually BE together vs. just dance around one another and their conflicts. It felt very formulaic and frustrating and their "issue" they were dealing with didn't really make any sense to me. There was tension, of course, but I wish we had had more time with the two of them vs. toward the last 25% of the book.

My overall rating was a 3.5/5 stars.

Definitely recommend this for people who are looking for a quick, unique romance read.

This book was fun, I liked the characters and the story. Small things really pulled me out of it. I hid them in case you don't want to notice them, not plot spoilers.
For one, Lucie smells like daisies? I work with flowers and love daisies, they don't smell like anything. And it's mentioned multiple times. Second, Aiden's hands are upside down. More than once his thumbs are mentioned being where they shouldn't, like somehow brushing Lucie's neck when putting her headphones on her head. I actually had to flip my hands around and try to figure out how he could possibly be positioned. And they keep talking about pineapple pizza! The moment it was mentioned I rolled my eyes as it's classic dating profile nothingness. But then they continue to talk about it what feels like every few minutes for the rest of the book. It was a little much for me.

There are two spicy chapters (23 and 27) and I think they're well written. No mention of a "member" or any other descriptor that ruins the moment. Aside from those two chapters it's very fluffy and cute. No big miscommunication trope either, which is a plus.

I had high hopes for this book, and it definitely lived up to it!! Such a cute rom-com that had me laughing and smiling throughout. The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the story is addictive, you don’t want to stop reading it. I appreciated the dual perspectives and how they didn’t just alternate each chapter. The transcripts were super cute transitions, too. It definitely got a bit predictable and I wish there was a bit more of the families, so I felt it wasn’t 100% perfect, but it was close, and I’d recommend this book to anyone. Hopeless romantics, those who don’t know how to believe in love, everyone. Excited for the books to come!!

i really loved this! aiden and lucie’s relationship was so sweet! i loved all the side characters, lucie’s family dynamics raising her daughter, and the uniqueness of the call in radio show in present day. plus, the sprinkle of the invisible string theory really made this so magical.

the only reason this isn’t five stars is because the miscommunication trope was a little too much for me.

i found but lucie and aiden’s characters to be so relatable and i’m so happy they finally found each other! 💘 this definitely pulled at my heartstrings and i can’t wait for the other books in this series!!!
