I really loved how fleshed out these characters were and how real they felt. BK Borison is so great at writing dialogue and I loved the snippets of the radio show too!

pretty good overall! loved the fmc & mmc chemistry at the start of the book. the miscommunications were a little annoying but overall a happy & sweet read!

idk why but Aiden lowkey started to piss me off so bad until I started to picture him as taylor perez. he was slightly bearable then. nothing more to say about this tbh.

No doubt this will work for a lot of people and I probably would have been one of them X number of years ago. Would have made a great 90s/early 00s romcom (and can see why it drew comparison  to a very famous one from around that era) but it's not the 90s anymore. The banter and one liners were a little too perfect, the MC's a little too appropriately jaded/unlucky in love. Also not a fan of the only way a 12YO girl can think of for her mother to not be lonely anymore is to try and find her a boyfriend...then everyone else in mum's life - including her bestie, a radio station, and half a coastline of people - try to jump in too. Leave the woman in peace.
