3.75 I really struggled to get all through this and I’m not sure if it was me in a bit of a slump or the actual book. Cute story though!

The cover art belies the mature
(read: sex)
scenes that are in this book - I thought I was picking up a cute meet-cute novel, which this book definitely was, just stretched out perhaps 100 pages too long. Side characters were fun but a bit unfleshed out; the plot line was so obvious in the beginning, you could see it from the second chapter.

Is this worthy of a re-read? Maybe, if I'm desperate around Valentine's Day. It's not quite a skip, but I'm not convinced it's a rec either.

Now when I tell you I didn’t have many expectations for this …. I freaking loved it hahaha more than I ever expected lol

It was cute as hell, the slow burn was buuuuurrrning and I even felt a little sad around the end!

no notes i mean this book was everything to me, i devoured it within 4 days and i could not put it down, i would start reading blink and an hour would have gone by

the writing is very easy to read but also wonderful to read BK Borison does an incredible job of describing what love feels like and writing characters which imo you simply can’t hate

people get yourself and Aiden and do not settle for anything less

“Nah Lucie … I think you’re the magic” 😍

“I remember all the things you’ve said”

“Caller: I’ve been with my husband for 65 yrs. every day isn’t a fairytale. we’ve worked hard for our relationship. to build it. to maintain it. i’ve become so many versions of myself and so has he, but we’ve found a way to fall in love with one another over and over again. every time

but there’s magic too. in between the hard work, there are perfect monents where everything lines up exactly right.
what else is that, if not the universe telling me i’m exactly where i’m supposed to be? i’m right next to him, holding his hand” ❤️

(ps: pls note that there is mention of cancer with regards to a parent just in case that is a sensitive topic please keep it in mind before reading ☺️)
