I liked it a lot. I may have rated it a bit higher but it’s my third book in a row of the same trope so it got a little old 😅

I found myself frustrated in some places. The dual perspectives felt unnecessary. I only want both perspectives if it’s going to add to the depth of the storyline and characters. I did enjoy some of their conversations. At times it felt realistic with their awkwardness, other times, the characters love bombed each other a little too much for my liking. This didn’t rock my world but it didn’t hurt it much either.

this was so close to 4 stars for me! this was a really cute premise and i really enjoyed the growth from both of them. could be a bit cringy at times and the miscommunications were a bit annoying; i know they’re basically necessary for the plot but they still bugged me.

This was a fun surprise for me as I enjoyed it more than I thought I would! One thing really bugged me throughout the book: the big WHY- why couldn’t they be together?! But in the end, I did really like this book and would read more from this author. Also- the smut in this…. SO GOOD 😏🔥😅
