I felt like I was watching soaps with my grandma again. Loved the drama! The lack of anything too sexy, violent, or sad was just right for me.

This book had me so confused at first, but it did get me hooked right away. There is a lot of people and a lot of drama, so once I got everyone straight it was much easier to understand. I loved all the drama and the secrets. There are some parts that I am like okay let's just get on with this point. The ending also seemed like it kind of just dragged out, and could have just ended and I wouldn't have felt like I was left with a cliffhanger and been content. This book is not an easy fun listen, as SO much is going on. If fewer characters had this drama this probably would have been a four-star read for me, but I felt like I had to keep track of so much during this. Also, I felt like it would be more of a thriller the way it started, and it was more of just suspense, but not for long. It kind of felt like just dipping the toes in to be a suspense.
Would I recommend this? Probably not, unless I knew that person enjoyed books like this.

I didn’t really know the point of this book to be honest, I just wanted to see how it ended but definitely thought about DNFing constantly throughout
POV whiplash. I literally couldn’t remember which main male character was which. Almost didn’t finish this one but, trudged through it. The only redeeming quality of this one was the narrator.
