Considering I usually hate books that have no redeeming characters - and this book has no reedeming characters - I quite liked this. Definitely a good "summer beach read" with an engaging plot that keeps the pages turning without being saccharine. Also makes you think - but not too much. You could finish this in a day sitting on a porch or under an umbrella and it would be a good day.
