Dracula is and probably will always be one of my favorite books.

I read along with the Dracula Daily crew this time around and had an absolute blast reading it this way.

From the characters to the plot and overall story it's just a fantastic book on all fronts (as well as an excellent Gothic novel).

Definitely a book I'll revisit many times again.

Dracula Daily is a fun format for this classic as it meshes so well with the epistolary/journal style of the work. Plus engaging with other readers on Tumblr has been a blast! When else do you get to enjoy real-time meme making for a century old novel?

This was my first time experiencing Dracula the novel as well, and it was pretty good! A solid mid-tier classic book for me. It was a fun story that surprisingly reminded me of Scooby Doo and Mystery Inc. - I wasn't expecting that. The character dynamics were unexpected and touchingly sincere. The horror moments were admirably grotesque. It's a classic for a reason and it was very fun to see the source material for so much modern horror.

The writing is decent but I wish Stoker didn't try accents so much.

Terrifying in the best way possible, “Dracula” is an iconic piece of literature for a reason.
If only the lengthy dramatic exclamations by the characters were cut by half…

Read this (again) today. It is my favorite classic. I enjoy it every time. I love the epistolary form, and I love the suspense. It's always great. I will always be at the mercy of vampire stories.
