I liked the character-building, and I think the themes were handled really well. However, all the coincidences and the almost-meets were soo frustrating! I was fed up with it after the third time and it happened like 15 times throughout their lives! I have mixed feelings about the two narrators as well: on one side it was awesome to hear both sides of each situation, on the other hand, it was often very repetitive as well. All in all, I finished reading it, and enjoyed the concept of following the characters through a large part of their lives, but I was also annoyed while reading it. Especially when they finally meet up again, the book finishes without ANY insight into their relationship together.
