I really like how they wrapped up the series! Loved having Eli back and seeing what he's up to.

While I enjoyed the return of Eli Vanto & some time with the Chiss, this one was less engaging than the previous two books. The middle has a couple moments where it feels like an ending... This reminded me of watching LOTR Return of the King in theaters with the multiple fade to black moments faking us out as the story continues in another area. So not the best pace in my opinion.

I'm unsure if I'll continue on to the Chiss Ascendency trilogy, but if I do it'll be via audiobook. They're too good not to listen rather than read. The production, the sound & narration. Marc Thompson does a great job once again---my only gripe was Crenic sounding like Sean Connory lol.
