Why is my favorite era of King just people walking really far and when can I read more of these? But overall a more straightforward/concise story than I’m used to for King, I love the character’s voice and the way she roots herself through her love for a baseball team. I think I enjoyed this a lot more because it’s scary/horrific in a creepy/spooky way. And have I ever read a book where sexual predators aren’t used as a horror element - no, but this is maybe the lightest mention that I recall.

Well Trisha is a boss that's for sure!
Another great King read and a really enjoyable quick story line, you'd think a 200+ page book with only one character lost in the woods (she's 9 years old) would be boring but as always King builds complex interesting characters.
Providing yet again King can write any genre he puts his mind to The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is a SOLID ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was interesting.
Very contradictory read.

The story is very slow with nothing much happening, yet at the same time there's no room to breathe.

The main character has all the innocence, resilience and imagination of a child, yet she is so adult in ways.

This is a supernatural story, with Well crafted horror elements creeping you out - yet at the same time it's the basic terror of reading a story with a child in danger as an adult.

The ending is unsatisfactory, there's all these open threads, yet is concludes beautifully in the ending hoped for.

Not an easy read. An exhilarating one, but not a read/listen as you go story.
