Fascinating read! This would be a wonderful book for young adults. I felt such sympathy for the main character.

If you liked Hatchet or The Vaster Wilds and want more of a kid lost in the woods and maybe dying, this is a great choice. Not traditional King horror really, just the horror of being a 9 year old lost in the Appalachians and probably gonna die type of horror.

My favourite Stephen King book to date. Short, simple, easy to read and very moving. A story of a little girl lost in the woods and her struggle for survival.
