This being one of my first Stephen King books I thought it was really good. I can picture everything that he’s writing like it’s happening to me. I can feel that girls pain and fear. The suspense kept me reading. If I didn’t have to work I would’ve finished in one night.

I'm working on getting through all my Stephen King back list and re reading some of my favorites. Compared to his other works, this one isn't as good. I do love the way King creates his characters and the way he writes the different povs. I'm not a fan of all the baseball references, but I will say that he did a good job with them and it made sense for Trisha. I didn't expect it to get so creepy about halfway through, but it did. I should have expected it from King. Overall, it's an ok book for me. On to the next one
