I couldn't put this book down! Honestly, it's hard to put down any MZ book once you start. Out of all her books, All Rhodes Lead Here focuses more on the FMC's self-discovery after experiencing hurt and betrayalโcoming full circle to the place where she lost her mom.
Aurora was such a ray of sunshine even when she's been through so much. I really resonated with her grief. I loved that she wanted to go on each of her mom's favorite hikes in Colorado as a way to honor her. Aurora's resilient, hilarious, and most of all, loveable.

The burn was slow per usual, but this time not just with the romance but with the found family aspect also. I loved Rhodes & Amos so much and seeing their friendship and love naturally grow for Aurora and vice versa was so touching and heartfelt.
This was the first MZ book that left me wanting a little more out of the romance. I also thought the last few chapters had a lot of drama which is pretty unusual for her books.
That being said, this was still an addictive and endearing read that will definitely tug at your heartstrings.
Now if you excuse me, I will be busy looking at flights to Pagosa Springs!

I started reading this on vacation and zoomed through the first half of so of the book. Once I got back from vacation, it felt as though the book dragged on. It was interesting, but a lot more emotional and darker than I was expecting. I found it very hard to read and very hard to stay interested in to finish.

I didnโt want this to end. Every time I start a new Mariana Zapata book I get scared that it will be the one where I get tired of her formula but It. Never. Happens.
And it CERTAINLY didnโt happen with this one.
Aurora and Rhodes are so cute together it makes me SICK because I might never have what they have and now itโs Mariana Zapataโs fault for setting my standards so high. Every little moment in this book had me kicking my feet I read a bunch of it at the beach because I just couldnโt stop and my friend probably thought something was going on because I couldnโt stop smiling and covering my mouth with my hand from cuteness overload. This was my first single parent book and itโs definitely not going to be my last because the way I absolutely ADORED the kid in this book and the dynamics with him it was amazing.
Taking .25 off because off a few small things, for example this quote: โbut only you are even more beautiful without makeup on than with it.โ It was too 2011 Disney channel original movie for me and thatโs ok because the book was still amazing.

I really enjoyed this book i loved the kinda man that Tobias Rodes is ๐๐๐ i almost died when he called her after she left and asked very concerned where she was going and then he showed up to where she said sheโd be before she hung up on him and told her how much he loved her and how his son told her they were mad but never wanted her to leave and they begged her to come back Tobias is every women's idea of a good man he was a gentleman he cared for her whereabouts and safety even mad at her he still couldnโt hide any concern he had for her i also loved when he ran to the hiking location sheโd be at after she was out to late and he was such a grumpy man and lord have mercy when she got him in the mood ifykyk he was very spicy not insanely though but he was indeed spicy i loved the ending to when Kaden came after Aurora and she picked Thobias Rhodes over Kaden infront of both of them and then at the ending finding out that Tobias Rhodes and Aurora got married had a baby and she was pregnant i loved it so much this book was so good this was the first one i read by this author and i wasnโt disappointed i rated it 5 stars โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

This isnโt a contemporary romance book, but it is - it feels more like a book about life. About coming to the middle of your life, confronting grief, rediscovering who you are, but all with sprinkles of romance throughout. The most loving parts of the book were when the romance and grief intersect.
I have my critiques with this book, like how it felt like a queer plotline for straight people. The angst felt lackluster.
But I enjoyed this, the pros outweighed the cons.

guys i loved this book so much. and im not one to complain about a slow burn so letโs start with that. i donโt mind lengthy books especially if theyโre good, have plot, and characters i love. which is exactly what this book was.
the characters really sold this book for me. aurora, rhodes, and amos became my favorite people. theyโre dynamics and how they interacted with eachother was everything my heart needed.
letโs talk about a slow burn done right bro. when they first met the dynamic between rhodes and aurora was my personal favorite a grumpy sunshine. then they became friends and became partners. BRO IT WAS SO GOOD. thereโs only one smutt scene btw.
quick mention of the tropes! grumpy x sunshine, small town romance, single dad, slow burn
honorable mentions to clara and yuki theyโre my favs bro. iโm just saying clara, yuki, and aurora wouldโve been an amazing trio!
