Ok ouchhhhh. I can't lie it did take me 2 months to finish this book, but damnnnnn it was worth it. What everyone says about the last 50 pages is true.

Honestly, I wanted to rate this book a lot lower. Like maybe 2.25. I did not vibe with Julie and the other characters weren't fleshed out enough. It also gives Wattpad-era. However the end of the book did make my heart hurt a lot (even tho I'd accidentally read a spoiler).

So yeah. Is it worth reading? I'm still not sure. But the answer is probably not unless you want to feel anger at the quality of writing until sadness at the end of the book.

I found this to be quite a fast read despite having a slower pace. It was compelling and interesting and while it is most definitely YA I personally enjoyed it. I do think that more questions could’ve been answered, but understand the context of leaving them unanswered. Overall, I liked this book!

LOVE THIS BOOK. It made me cry in the middle of class, I love the plot and (MOST) the characters.

First of all a big f**k you to my reading playlist for playing ‘See You Later (ten years) ’ by Jenna Raine, not once but TWICE while I was reading this. Both time in which were already during emotional moments! I did not deserve that.

That aside, I loved Dustin Thao’s writing style. All the flashbacks and memories were seamlessly interwoven, and I felt like I could see it all playing out in my head like a movie. There were some moments and pieces of dialogue that I found to be slightly cliche and cheesy but overall this was a solid book. Extra points for it making me cry for the last 4 pages.

maybe i should have read you‘ve reached sam at another point but i felt a little underwhelmed after finishing it.
i enjoyed the characters and the whole concept was interesting to be a part of but i really hated how the topic of grief was handled. it was also difficult for me to relate to any of the characters.
i guess i expected to get more emotional. i shed a tear or two at the last few chapters but all in all i don’t really get the hype but it might just not be the book for me

I didn't understand a lot of things, but I suppose this book is not here to make sense, but for you to feel things.
Unfortunately, I'm not good with feelings, so a low rating for me.
