I thoroughly enjoyed reading Nancy’s memoir of anorexia and bulimia. Her narration is so honest and raw, showing the battles that both the person with an eating disorder, and their family experience. Showing that there is no hand guide to helping someone with an eating disorder and that it’s not as easy as getting therapy and being better. I wouldn’t recommend reading this book if you are not in a good place, not that that would stop a lot of people. However I feel like I was reading a memoir of my life. And that touched me to my core.
