Il libro è davvero molto scorrevole, la narrazione è affidata per la maggior parte alla figura di Medusa che ci svela i suoi sentimenti e la sua disperazione per la maledizione ricevuta ma da un certo punto in poi si alterna a quella di Perseo, figlio di Danae e di Zeus.
Sarebbe stato bello approfondire alcuni aspetti ma tutto sommato è un libro che si fa leggere con piacere riportandoci indietro di moltissimi anni.

A strong mythological read about the unsung and wronged woman of the Greek mythology - Medusa. She is a nice little girl, always thought for the good, devoted to Goddess Athena only to be wronged by one of the Gods and be cursed.
It’s an emotional read for me and to read about her , it’s such a sad drastic story.

Uy una interesante versión de Medusa, todo lo que sea mitología para mi es genial! Me atrapa encontrar pedacitos de información que ya conocía atrapados en este tipo de novelas y seguirle sumando personalidad a personajes que ya me había topado antes. Debo decir que la narración del audiolibro en español no me gustó y lo hubiera disfrutado más leyéndolo.

Loved the alternative view that neither Perseus or Medusa were the bad guys. This is the first version I’ve read where both were the victims of their circumstances. Additionally Perseus was written as a very compassionate character.

Honestly I wish this book was longer, it had so much more potential but I see why the author ended it where they did. The storytelling was good and fast paced which kept my interest but it didn’t blow me away. I liked both the characters Medusa and Perseus as much as I could’ve liked them in such a short time. I just love anything Greek mythology so even if the story wasn’t as fleshed out as it could’ve been I still had so much fun with it.
