Avevo zero aspettative perché ormai chiunque scrive retelling, ma è stato meraviglioso ❤️

Not the best retelling I've ever read. In fact this is just more of a telling of the original myth. Because the author didn't really put a creative spin on it, I didn't enjoy it as I did with other retellings. If you don't know the original story of medusa this could be a good introduction.

I wanted more focus on medusa and more of a feminist take but unfortunately there were only glimmers of what could have been in this text.

Pretty well written, good for people that already forgot the details of greek mythology like me. A feminist view of the world of heroes and immortals. It's easy bed-time reading, and free on Amazon.

I really enjoy retellings of Greek mythology. This retelling of Medusa's life and death was moving. Always regarded as a horrible monster, but reading her story from the beginning makes one understand her mindset and horribleness.

Maybe a 3.5. I was sceptical in the beginning but I ended up really liking the Perseus parts (praise the graiai!!) and the ending. It might have something to do with the way the narrator narrated it because it was a very theatrical rendition but the I loved that when it came to Pereus so maybe it's a tone thing?

Expected the story to be longer. Nice to see a different rendition of medusa's fall
