Usagi being jealous of Chibi-Usa is not my favorite moment for Sailor Moon. The villains feel formulaic, like we did this format with Queen Beryl/Metalia. Usagi kinda sucks as Neo Queen Serenity atm, so I'm hoping she'll turn it around. Takeuchi had her realization that Tuxedo Mask was way underutilized and gave him La Smoking Bomber... lol it's a little corny. And no Mars, Jupiter, or Mercury?! This volume is kind of in-between strides and I hope it smooths out.

What a great volume! The first half of the Dark Moon Kingdom arc. Aliens from the planet Nemesis attack earth in the 30th century and then travel back to the 21st century to attack earth in the time of Sailor Moon and the scouts.
We get mind and time blowing revelations about Usagi's future and the lore begins to open up into multiple time frames!
I like how the author leans into the enemies in this arc being "aliens". There are crop circles all over Tokyo and they come and go in flying saucers. It's ironic when you remember that all the protagonist characters except Tuxedo Mask are also re-incarnations of aliens.
