Reading this, especially after watching the movie, makes imaging the scenes so much easier. It has a great cover with this beautiful design that includes all of the fantastic beasts.
I’ve never read the screenplay of a movie I’ve seen before—it was very much like
re-watching the movie in my head, only with some delightful additions I couldn’t have gotten from the film. I wouldn’t have known quite all of the animals’ names, for example, and definitely could not tell from the movie that Queenie reads Jacob’s mind at one point and sees the devastation he witnessed in the war. That was super-powerful. The screenplay also makes clear how much the movie’s acting complements and enhances what’s on the page. Really lovely screenplay, but even lovelier as depicted onscreen.

Few years ago I had bought the hogwarts collections that had Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as Quidditch through the ages. I was intrigued by Fantastic Beasts this I was overly thrilled when the movie and screen play were to come out. I was happily surprised at the twists and turns, the Beasts and the story lines following Newt and his adventure in New York. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.
“Newt Scamander: My philosophy is that worrying means you suffer twice.”
5.0- o livro não foi nenhuma surpresa pra mim por já ter visto o filme mas adorei como foi escrito para o cinema, além da edição ser de tirar o fôlego, um desenho mais bonito que o outro
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
I wish this were a book, not a screenplay, because I read it entirely too fast. All the same, I loved it. I love that Rowling continues to expand the wizarding world. Now we have a new hero in Newt, as we learn not only about the wonderful magical beasts, but also about Grindelwald's reign/power and how he will eventually fall.

I don't think I've ever read a screenplay until now. Interesting.
If you’ve watched the movie then you probably don’t need to read this screenplay unless you want to. However I read this as it was a little hard for me to follow along with the fantastic beasts movies considering there were no books to follow along with them like the Harry Potter movies. This screenplay helped me understand more of the plot of fantastic beasts. If you’d like to read it I recommend it it didn’t take me long to read either.
I loved this one. I can't wait to watch the movie. This screenplay was everything I hoped it would be and more. I read it in one day because I just had to know what would happen next. I really enjoyed the characters in this one, especially Queenie and Tina, but Newt was my favorite of course. He was very charming. I hope this means we will learn more about Ilvermorny. I would love for there to be a whole series about Ilvermorny similar to the Harry Potter series. I liked Cursed Child, too, but this one was more enjoyable. Rowling can do no wrong by me. I love everything she writes. This book has me planning my next trip to Orlando so I can go back to the wizarding world.
