I’ve enjoyed this series and was looking forward to Thorn’s story. It didn’t disappoint!!

Filled with tension and emotion, this action packed romance is a whole lot of fun! A great read.

In this addition to the Disaster Crimes series, we focus in on Amanda and Thorn. Their story is full of healing, passion, and a determination to survive together no matter what disaster is thrown in their path. Amanda, a survivor of horrific domestic violence, is healing from the hurt she received from her ex-husband, a predator who is still on the hunt for her. Thorn, a police officer who exudes both gentleness and strength, has been in love with Amanda for a long time, but he has been taking it slow, because he can see the signs of trauma in her life.
Finally, they have reached a moment when they both have the courage to consider a coffee date. Amanda still isn't sure if she's ready, but she wants to be.
When her predatory ex-husband shows up and disaster strikes, does Amanda have a fighting chance?
I read this book in one sitting. The suspense was taut, the sweet-to-steamy romance was just right for these characters in this story. As a survivor of past trauma (not the same level or same situation), I felt the scenes where Amanda struggles with her fear were realistic and well-written.
An excellent book and a great series!
