The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games with faeries is an apt description for this first installment. Although it heavily draws on other well known source material (such as those listed above and ACOTAR), the premise is intriguing enough that I look forward to the rest of the series.

This one was frustrating for me and I was disappointed in the end. Left with many more questions than answers.
The characters felt flat and one dimensional. Like they didn't have set goals of their own. Gabriel was my favorite and he still ended up feeling flat.
