Overall the book wasn’t catching my interest, but then I got to the first guy narrator and it was an instant dnf, completely ripped me from the story

Writing was juvenile. Gave hunger games/selection/TOG vibes without the strong plot. The FMC is a pick me and only resolves issues with beating people up etc. Characters lacked depth/believability. Overall plot was predictable.
