I have become a fan to Sarah Morgan Christmas stories. I like that they are not the typical Hallmark feeling. This one is about friendship, family and love. I also loved that I learned of a new place that I would love to spend Christmas at. Lapland, Sweden with a Santa setting and the Aurora Boreus.

Great festive read.

The descriptions of Lapland In all its shimmery/snowy loveliness, was so good, I felt like I was there.

I love the relationship dynamics and ups and downs they each go through because its gives it a bit move of a realistic spin, life isn't always peachy.

I loved the friendship between Chrissy and Alix. It is so relatable. Friendships have ups and downs but the true ones always work through stuff both easy and hard.

I like the visit the Alix and Zac make. Its really Christmassy.

I absolutely love the festive deal to this story and its so heartwarming. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Oh Sarah does it again!

I have read every single one of Sarah's Christmas stories and I am amazed at her ability to delve so deep into human relationships. I feel I am part of the relationships and the characters' lives because she does a brilliant job of fleshing out her characters.

Loved the atmosphere as well. Bravo!

This was such an enjoyable read again from Sarah Morgan.
Set in Lapland It immediately provides the Christmas feeling and the importance on nature and it’s impact on emotions is clear in the authors writing.
There is romance in this but there is so many more layers - family, marriage, sisterhood, friendships, lovers, parents and things not said or said in situations where we as humans question motives and reasons.
I thought this was one of her best books - setting was superb, characters were strong and I felt I knew them well and the storyline wove a family drama which gave me all the Christmas vibes I was looking for.
Thanks the the author, publisher and NetGalley for a gifted copy of this in return for an honest review.
A Christmas tale which will give you all you need in a Xmas read.

It’s not that too romantic book, but this book definitely can teach you a lot about relationships between people, family, friends! How to deal with difficult situations and how to open your mind and heart to your closest people.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you to HQ for letting me take part in this tour and for my copy of this book via Netgalley.

This book is written from 3 POVs, Christy, Robyn and Alix. It was really interesting seeing the different thoughts of each of the characters on the different events in the book. I really liked all three women. Each had different stories on what made them the way they are. I honestly felt for all three of them once I heard their stories. I just wanted to hug them all.

There are many relationships in this book both romantic and familial. Alix and Christy are like sisters. They have such a close bond but have been too scared to tell each other the truth as they were afraid of losing each other. That made me really sad. These two have been through so much in their friendship that they should know their bond is unbreakable. I also really liked seeing Christy and Seb open up about their issues and feelings. It was so refreshing to see some honesty bringing them back together. Seeing Alix and Zac together was hilarious. It was so obvious that they should be together that I couldn't help but laugh at the pair.

Sarah's descriptions are so vivid. Lapland sounded beautiful. I am terrible in the cold so I am sure I would have frozen to death but it would have been worth it. Those cabins in that snow landscape and the northern lights. what a dream location. Recently I have read quite a few books with the Northern Lights in and I'd really love to see them one day. They sound so romantic.

If you're looking for a warm and cozy Christmas read then I'd recommend snuggling up with this one.

Probably closer to 3.5 - lovely unexpected setting in Lapland and complex relationships between friends, husbands, and family. Christmasy but not simple.

This was such a beautiful book. I love the Christmas theme it put off, and the happiness that radiated throughout the story. I connected with all the characters and just kept wanting more. Definitely recommend!
