I want to preface by stating that I had not even heard of the anime before picking up this book to read. It's hard to explain what I liked so much about this book. It really shows how much of life would end up being the same despite different choices just because that's how being human works. No matter what club the character joins, he ends up meeting the same group of people just in slightly different manners.
I loved the writing/translation and it made the book very engaging.

It's not often that I'll dare to say that an adaptation is better than the original. Maybe it's the nostalgia or something but I liked the anime adaptation better. It might have been the pacing or the translation or just the visuals, but yeah. You can all come after me now haha
