Fantastic!! So much I could say. Lots of things I’m left wondering about. Not to sound corny but it’s one of those books that made me think about my life etc. etc. and this book did it in such an intriguing and fun way. I think it would appeal to anyone and everyone!

At first I wasn’t sure if I’d like this just because of how annoying the narrator was. But as I got into it, I liked the exploration of how small decisions can shape our lives but there are always the threads of fate to link to some inevitability. And it ended on a surprisingly upbeat note as the narrator took control and made changes rather than just floating along.

i’m not sure how much i would have gotten out of this novel if i wasn’t such a fan of the anime adaptation. most of the motifs and thematic elements from the series are present in the novel, but the anime restructures and refines the narrative in a manner that undeniably elevates the material.
