After reading the dreadful Pamela, this was a great comic relief. I guess it is necessary to have put yourself through the torture of Pamela to fully understand how awesome these parodies are.

**I would also like to note that this edition is fantastic.
Catherine Ingrassia provides very interesting footnotes that were very revealing in understanding the intricacies of 18th century culture (specifically regarding servants in Anti-Pamela).
