I hated the format. I hated it so much! I can't stand the whole letter, text, e-mail, and diary formats in books so I try to avoid them. This book was an exception because the summary caught my interest. Jane's bitchy attitude annoyed me but I guess it sort of grows on you because near the end I wasn't as annoyed. I don't plan on reading the first two books because of the formatting but this book wasn't too bad. Her obsession with writing in the journal bothered me because even in the end when Cal is trying to explain himself she is writing in it. I got an image of her staring into his eyes while she wrote in her book without looking.

This is my all-time favourite book. I'm not sure why, but I think it's because it shows that no matter how much you hate a person, you can end up falling in love with them, just like Jane and Cal. I loved how Jane gave a detailed account of each day, of how she felt towards Cal etc.

Okay, so Every Boy's Got One was a bit better than the previous book but not by much. At least to me. I also just realized that I read this series in a weird ass order. Book 1 and 4 were done before I even jumped into 2 and 3? Not sure I understand my logic on this but I'm going with it anyways.
In it, you will meet Jane and Cal. Now this is definitely a enemies to lovers romance because these two did not mesh in the beginning. So it was kind of interesting to see what banter I could possibly get between these two. Boy did they banter, a lot. I loved it all. Some of it was funny and other times I just rolled my eyes and went along with it.
Both character definitely had their owns flaws in my eyes because I honestly couldn't tell you who I liked more. They are pretty much equal in my ways because they both annoyed me so many times. I will say that the romance did have it's cute moments but that's about it. This book also made me super jealous and want to travel the world.. but I can't at the moment. Ugh. Stupid pandemic!
In the end, I guess I'm just glad that I finished another series this year.

so when i first picked up this book and found that it consists of diary entries and emails i had already made up my mind that it wouldn't be a very good book but i would finish it anyways. Oddly enough though, i actually liked this. it was cute and interesting even if it was kind of boring at parts. the main character is very interesting and the male lead is also...even though he seems to have a fairly creepy foot fetish that could be considered strange. all in all....it wasn't that bad.

I got started on Meg Cabot through the Princess Diaries. I expanded to take on the Heather Wells Series and Boy Series. Interesting books.

I was rereading it, and I really wanted to like it because I remember loving this book, but I just couldn't.

Cute and quick read, but probably wouldn't read it again. It follows the same format of the other books in Cabot's "Boy" series although this one wasn't as good as the other two.

Meg Cabot's books are hilarious. This one was done in a journal style (as opposed to the e-mail style in "The Boy Next Door" and "Boy Meets Girl". This one seemed to miss something and the romance felt rushed.
