Characters were interesting. The author does a great job with family reconciliation! Although I wasn’t ok with the rushed story with the main character’s father. He’s a jerk. But maybe I need more forgiveness in my heart 🤔 maybe it’s how cowardice he is. Yuck. I think this book was a bit more open door than her others. Idk just not a huge fan of this one. Def will continue to read her stuff though!

Book is mainly about forgiving someone who really doesn't deserve it. It's kind of annoying. The love interest has no personality whatsoever. He's just a prop. I liked the narrative voice though.
