Zach.

This was a super easy read (finished in just a couple of hours) and it was cuter than the first. Cammie still goes completely stupid in the male presence despite given to opportunity to overcome this.
In the first book only Cammie is really characterized and sadly that is the same in this book. You really see Cam grow and learn but the rest of the secondary characters are still cliched and two dimensional which is sad because I see some real potential for breakout characters in both Bex and Macey. Sadly though they were a bit underutilized.
Still it is an adorable idea, and is making out to be a cute series. But I want to see how it progresses mainly because I want to see if Carter can continue to cloak this Disney-esche espionage world she has created. Eventually these girls will have to graduate and move into the really spy world which I am sure won't be so innocent and sugar coated. What then? I am not sure anyone thought that far ahead. Classes like Culture and Assimilation and Countries of the World are fantastic and will help these kids, but what about Coercive Interrogation 101, Sniper v Up Close and Personal 202, or How To Survive Torture 303? Considering most YA books won't even talk about sexual urges I have a feeling Carter won't be addressing the real situations in this line of work.
