rereading for the first time since middle school and love love love it sm. still want to be a gallagher girl!!!!

I am not sure if I will want to continue with this series. I will probably read one more book (since I needed a spy book for a challenge), but after that I will probably drop the series. Unless, of course, it changes for the better.

It was the typical formula in this book. Take one girl who thinks she is a spy, add a boy, add stupidity and such and voilà, practically the same book as the previous book. I frankly got bored and kept replacing Zach's name with that guy from the previous book. They are both dicks, so that also doesn't help.

Our main character is a spy, or well a spy in training. And while we get the continuous thing that Cammie is awesome and wonderful, I just didn't see it. She does stupid things, lets boys come between her studies and her work as a spy. She is just like any teenage girl, OMG a boy! *forgets everything around her and acts like an idiot*. It gets a bit annoying and it also made me frustrated. For a so-said awesome spy I had expected more.

The same goes for most of the school. They are all spies, but as soon as they see a boy they forget everything there is.

Zach is an enormous dick and I hated him throughout the whole book. I don't like guys who act all superior and treat girls like they do in this book.
He kept bothering and stalking Cammie, and he didn't take a no from her at all. It just got annoying.

The ending is the only thing that saved the book from a dramatical 1 star. The rest of the book is pretty much the same blabla and it is a whole lot of boring.

Literally giggling and kicking my feet the whole time! Loved their mission in DC and them not realizing it was the boys. Loved how badass it was when Cammie first said “hello Blackthorne Boy.” Kind of low key loved when Cammie confronted Zach about lying to Tina and he said “did you ever think maybe it was none of Tina’s business what we did.” Really really loved when he said was going to kiss her in the town before Deedee interrupted. I do feel kind of bad for Josh but hope he’s happy with Deedee. Love love loved the final dip kiss in the front foyer and definitely am a Cammie and Zach shipper. Really loved seeing Macey, Liz, Cammie, and Ben grow closer and them involve Macey in all their sneaking around. The final mission felt a bit like a cop out with it being the exact same as the first books but I get the point of the teachers wanting to see if they could do it together. I really really hope in the rest of the books the boys come back to the girls school to finish their education. I feel like it won’t be the same if they just see each other on missions and stuff and don’t actually go to the same school. Excited for the rest of the books!

Reading these books is like being wrapped up in the warmest blanket ever when you're freezing cold

There's something so cozy and fun and exciting and light-hearted (but also like... comfortably stressful? Thrilling?)

Anyway, I'm having fun reading these, so if you'll excuse me I have book number three to get to....

Another funny book from the Gallagher Girls series. These books remind me a bit of Artemis Fowl but instead of the evil genius and fairies, genius and spies in training.
