I just wasn't a fan of this one. I feel like the start feels like it picks up in the middle (or at least after the start) of the book. I suppose kids with dogs could maybe relate and follow some of this, but other kids reading this or hearing it as a read aloud in class might get lost. Even as a dog lover, and a book lover, I felt it was very busy and chaotic, and it jumped around a bit. Cute idea, but I couldn't keep up with the execution.
