Until I discovered that Carolyn Keene is a pen name for a whole bunch of ghostwriters, I used to feel confused about the slight differences in each character from books to book over the many series of Nancy Drew mysteries. I like the character of Nancy best in the original books written by Mildred Wirt Benson where Nancy is truly a character to root for – an independent and street smart girl with a penchant for trouble.

Ned's car is crashed and he's missing! There are all sorts of problems with the team's bikes and suddenly the money is missing? A quick read and the mystery was definitely more compelling than the first one. I'm hopeful they will continue to get better the more I get into the series. Definitely good for a quick giggle and light mystery. 3/5
Nostalgi fikk meg til å høre på denne boka, og jeg gikk gjennom hele med tanken at jeg visste nøyaktig hvem som gjorde det, men det gjorde jeg ikke. Tror jeg kommer til å lytte meg gjennom hele serien med nye frøken detektiv, det er et koselig avbrekk og de tar ikke 20 timer å høre på.
