Like Shakespeare I expect this would be much better performed. Very much feels like a book that is better studied rather than reading for pleasure

I absolutely hate Telemachus.

I think I’m in my Iliad phase of life. I hear once you’re older you begin to appreciate the Odyssey more.

As it is, I’m currently only really able to acknowledge Odysseus as a complex and intelligent man — but, unfortunately, one whom I don’t particularly like, and who arguably turns into something of a domestic terrorist in Book XXII.
