I am so bummed that this one did not work for me because I was really looking forward to seeing how this author used Bonnie (my favorite!!) from The Vampire Diaries to inspire the story. Unfortunately, there was too much that caused me to lose interest and I probably should've just dnfed it... Also, I would love to know why our main character calls her father by name throughout the entire story even though when she's talking to him she calls him "dad"??

Omgggg. Vampires. Werewolves. Witches. Hybrids. This book had EVERYTHING! I was hooked from the very first page and drawn in every second! It kept me wanting more and more. Lol
Also, can we talk about getting a black female vampire main character?! I love my witches, but this was a change I didn't know I needed! I can't wait to see what Mira does with her newfound powers! That ending! 😮 I am so happy this is a three book series, and I cannot wait for books 2 and 3!
