Griff and Heath have a great friendship. How much they care about each other, how well and easily they get along, plus how well they know each other... Yeah, their relationship was easily my favourite part of the book. Though I liked them both individually as well. They were both funny, caring and competent (though that last part was a point of insecurity for Griff).

I also liked the way Griff’s ex-wife was included. She’s wasn’t an awful person, but she also wasn’t completely perfect. Felix, Griff’s son, was entertaining and I’m happy to know that he’ll be getting a book (as part of a different series).

The romance was very good. I thought it was hilarious how constantly horny Griff was, and how it was treated almost as a running gag. And overall, I think I liked this book about as much as the last one. Meaning I liked it a lot and I enjoyed reading it, but it’s also not a book I’ll find myself coming back to often. It was a good time.

Very loving and respectful friendship and relationship between the MCs. Extremely low angst.
