Yeah I liked this a lot except for Felix and the wife was also not my cup of tea. I am glad I read Felix' story before, because I would be reluctant to go for it. I am really excited for Orson and Ford and later for Art. Saxon James Is really shining in this series.

This was just a very fluffy, low conflict, easy read.

Review:
I really enjoy this story, but I did find the voices for the two MCs a little hard to tell apart, so it did make this a little confusing.

Knew by the end of Chapter 3 that this book wasn't for me. Just didn't draw me in.

I enjoyed it, it is just a nice fluffy romance with low angst. I will say I didn't like poppy at all! I felt like she was pretty selfish leaving Griff to run the hotel without any real experience plus she was really mean to him and treated him like he was stupid.

As always, I know that I cannot be disappointed when I read a book from Saxon James ! And this book was so sweet, so beautiful, it was a wonderful story about friendship turning into deeper love.

After many years of marriage, Griff and his wife decide to separate after accompanying their son Felix to college. Griff doesn’t like changes, but he has to face his new life and he’s supposed to live the bachelor life that he didn’t have. Heath is Griff’s best friend, they’ve known each other all their life, and he’s always here for him in life, at work. Heath never had a deeper feeling for Griff, he’s a true lumber snack so not his type.

After one year of waiting, Griff is finally free from his marriage, he can put a stop to his abstinence period - and Heath and this other member of the DMC are here for him. However, like always things never go as they were planned. Heath just wants to help his friend, but he also questions himself regarding his life, after his father’s death he wants to be more present for his mother. But for the first time, he starts to see little things, like Griff’s smile, Griff’s body…
Soon all rules will be obsolete…

Platonic rules « No names. No leaving the club. Just a total random hookup with no means of contacting them again ». Such a sweet story, I really loved it and I want to know what happened with Art and Orson, this series is addictive and it is nice to like a series involving mature characters.
