The finale to this series somehow snuck up on me, and I was worried it would be a doozy, considering some of the patterns of the last two years in Injustice. Instead, it finishes rather gracefully.

Honestly, I enjoyed this volume more on a 3-star level, but I'm giving it an extra star because it's such a rare and difficult feat to tidily wrap up any kind of series that's been running for a handful of years. It suffered in quality when it switched to a weekly comic, and when Tom Taylor stopped writing it, but is still the most solid multi-volume storyline focusing on the core Justice League members I've read to date.

Long awaited ending to one of the most acclaimed series of the decade, unfortunately it fell short to expectations.
Rather than ending the five year it left us with more questions than answers than I can only assume the game is meant to fill in, but since it's been so long since I've played that I don't actually remember any of the plot.
The art is is great, outside of some questionable facial expressions. There is also a scene change to an alternate reality that isn't very obvious which confused me a little.

I was going to rate this awfully because it was a cliffhanger without anything to follow up except Injustice 2. But then my friend showed me the link for the cutscences in the game (many people have the link in their reviews. After watching it, everything made sense and I loved the ending. Maybe watch the video while reading the comics? It might help.

The shark was jumped a loooooooooong time ago. And just when I think this story is over, nope! Fooled.

Blah.

Ends on a cliffhanger. Must be resolved in the video game
