January 2022 reread
There’s just something about the banter between Jasmine and Ivan that just completely gets to my heart. I love the figure skating aspect, I love the enemies to friends to lovers development, I just love this book. With Jasmine’s struggles at the beginning of the book, it was wonderful to see how much she and Ivan were able to grow.
I loved Jasmine and Lukov! Also I loved how this was a sports romance focused on pairs figure skating - I love pairs skating and I'm obsessed with partners falling for each other (looking at you Virtue and Moir). Like with other Mariana Zapata books, this was a slow burn, but it's all in the actions that you can tell how the characters feel about each other and it just tugs on all my heartstrings!
