DID NOT FINISH: 0%

I’m not sure what it is about non-Black ND folks equating their experiences with racism. I couldn’t get past that and the sweeping generalizations in the introduction.

A good book for those who are late diagnosis and gives language to the experience but doesn’t really have any helpful suggestions besides being aware of your sensory experiences and hope that society changes

Didn't get much out of it.

Not my type of book sadly.

First half interesting info but felt written from a too personal point of view - perhaps the translation wasn’t best either
challenging emotional informative reflective slow-paced

A little too light and soft for the topic - which in some ways would be helpful to the target audience but doesn't cover enough neurodivergence and constantly collates queerness with neurodivergence - of which there is a large correlation - which could put off some people this book could help.

It felt like a cosy club meeting - which is great, support groups are great - but they don't cater to much of the crux of the issue, or the challenges of the real world consequences for applying the solutions mentioned, especially in the workplace.

Worth reading, but also worth checking out other reference material on the side.
