Eddie Flynn is back and on a new case. This time, Eddie is called after the murder of the former mayor of New York is murdered and the suspect is one of, if not both, of his daughters. Alexandra is the daughter that has her life together. Sofia is the daughter with addiction and mental health issues. Both daughters have had a rough past and they hate each other. Both doted on their father until he was murdered. Both are also highly highly suspicious and likely highly skilled at lying. So which one murdered their father? The way Eddie sees it there’s a fifty fifty chance.

This series truly gets better and better with each book. So now I have a new favorite. Quick, fun reads with lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing.

Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for this ARC! On to the next one!

I have read all of the Eddie Flynn series in order (excluding the Devil's Advocate which I am yet to read) and have noticed each one slowly becoming better, this is not to say that I didn't majorly enjoy the earlier books too. Fifty Fifty is definitely my favourite in the series so far, including Thirteen which seems to be thought of as his best book.

Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for the advanced e-copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This is my second Steve Cavanagh ARC, and my third book by him.

I enjoyed this book. The back-and-forth was so well done and the twist was expertly executed.

I’m so glad Atria is publishing this paperback installment of Eddie Flynn.

Read if: you want a good legal thriller with a GREAT twist.

This one had me guessing whodunnit right up until nearly the end!! 🙌

Another great installment in the Eddie Flynn series!! While it is part of a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone! Definitely check this one out, as well as the rest of the series! 👏

Thank you to NetGalley, Atria Books and Steve Cavanagh for the opportunity to read the eARC in exchange for my honest review! ❤️ I will definitely be picking up a trophy copy to display on my shelf!

Received from NetGalley.

Alright so, a few months ago I got an ARC of the 8th book in this series.. without realizing it was the 8th when I took it. Being a procedural with an interesting premise, I took a chance jumping in at book 8. Well, it was great. There was just enough personal stuff to feel for the characters without being too heavy that I felt like I was playing catch up. The case itself sucked me in.

But I have been bogged down by ARCs to go back and ready the 7 previous books.

So when Fifty Fifty came my way, I was like sure, I might as well keep going with book 9. Readers, it was not book 9. This wasn’t an advance. It was book 5 and it came out in 2020.

Putting aside my eye twitching at not only starting at 8 and then going back and ready 5, the premise was too good to skip over.

I mean. Really. How could I not read this? No regrets.

Now I’m taking a break from ARCs to go read book 1. Though I was tempted to just go to book 6 but I don’t think I could take being that chaotic.
