This felt like somone was really trying to come up with a lot of different things to do to fill time and "be weird"... yet nothing was really that weird (though some were fun to think about), and they felt more forced as the book went on.

So weird. But also oddly uplifting.

it was just fun things to think about/prompts in between the author telling you to be yourself and to be unashamed of being 'different'

I actually really enjoyed this one. The title was off-putting and cringey at first when I picked it up, but upon peering inside I was rather intrigued. The titles are enticing to say the least, and the inscribed references inside and the fun prompts are rather inspiring. If nothing else, I am imbued with new knowledge from the texts along with quotes to remember. I have practiced some of the prompts, and although a good number of them are absurd and undesirable, there are VERY many gems that will have you seeing life through a new lens.

well, this reminded me why i don't like self help books. it's basically just a list of tasks / exercises to do, and i just don't enjoy that. i didn't do any of them because i felt bored at just the thought. this kind of stuff just doesn't work for me. i guess it might be my autism but who knows! i get why people like this, but no thank you.
