This is one of the best examples of PTSD and trauma I've seen in the romance genre.

I took some points off for how oddly the passage of time was handled at times. Otherwise, this was a heartfelt and brilliant story that had me in fits of laughter and tears. Highly recommend.

This is a sweet book with a lovely message of hope and victory over physical and emotional abuse. I enjoyed it but thought that it moved a little slowly and that the characters were a tad cliche. 

If you like a dark, complicated, fast-paced story, this book is not for you.

If you’re looking for a classic, triumphant, happily-ever-after tale, then look no further!
