Ask a Queer Chick: A Guide to Sex, Love, and Life for Girls Who Dig Girls by Lindsay King-Miller

I just did not like it. Seems like pretty basic dating advice that hardly applies solely to women who are interested in the same sex. Feels like a cash grab. One would be better benefited by a free google search.

Great resource for all the overhanging questions. Loved the section on bi validity!

Very informative but written in a conversational style that's easy to read and digest. Info for baby queers, lifelong queers, allies, friends and family, etc.

I didn't really have anything against this book,* I just didn't find it particularly revelatory. It has a very conversational tone and the advice is delivered with what feels like genuine care. *It does not, however, seem to remember that some queer women are aro/ace, and focusing the book around dating is not just unhelpful for people who don't want to date, but it's actually reinforcing a misconception that being queer is about romantic love & sex, when it truly is a rainbow of experiences. Perhaps it remembers the ace-specs later, but I didn't bother to stick it out that long.
Moderate: Acephobia/Arophobia
