I enjoyed reading this book from the first page. I read it on kindle and listened on audiobooks (moving back and forth) and would recommend both platforms. I loved the characters! The story evoked so many emotions.

Absolutely loved this book - it lives rent-free in my head and I read it over a year ago. The characters are mostly lovable and the story kept me intrigued. Definitely character-driven so if you're looking for an action-packed/plot-driven book, this won't hit the mark for you.

Well developed characters and the plot flows so well and fast and it connects with all the emotions. The style takes you on Sam's journey of his life while going between past and present.

Heartwarming story about best friends and the lengths they go to support each other. The relationship of San and his parents is well developed and adds so much to the story. Loved the quick pace and the shorter chapters. This books gives you hope and a lot to think about
